Safer work-related driving program What is work-related driving? Most people at some stage of their working life will inevitably drive for work purposes. This can include: - Using a work vehicle for a short trip during the day, such as store visits by marketing staff.

Safe Driver Education Company has identified work-related driving as a key area in which road traffic accidents and crashes can be substantially reduced. Safe Driver Education (SDE) Programs SDE will provide a sample safe driving policy for your company. SDE will evaluate the driving attitude of all new employees. SDE will provide a wide range of education programs for the workplace (refresher courses, defensive driving courses, fatigue, speed, alcohol and drugs, seatbelts). SDE will assist in implementing work road safety training in your company. SDE works with government agencies, Universities and other safety organizations to exchange information on best practices.

| Professional Driver Training
The Professional Driver Training program is a seminar/evaluation program offered to companies that feel responsible for improving driving attitudes and skills of their employees. This one day-program for about 20 employees consists of class room sessions that cover four modules as selected by the company from a list of courses and evaluation sessions where employees’ vision is checked and their in-car driving attitude is evaluated by trained instructors. The company can select from a range of training modules, such as: driving safety systems, vehicle knowledge and care, courtesy on the road, traffic regulations, health and first-aid in driving, trip planning, basic vehicle driving skills, anticipating accidents and crashes, and risk reduction strategies. Companies can opt for adding car driving simulation to the course to evaluate employee reaction times and to train employees in higher risk situations, such as: night driving, expressway merges, rain and fog, or high density traffic. All training is conducted in Thai by experienced driving instructors.

Advanced Driver Safety Education Program This is a one day public course designed to train a maximum of twenty students how to drive passenger cars or light vehicles safely. It is conducted in two sessions of four hours each, using four instructors. - Session One – Multi-media training session with video, animation, and photography focusing on four subjects announced in advance by SDE. They cover specific a level of driving expertise. These lecture/discussion sessions are led by a Senior Driving Instructor and a Junior Instructor using a professional training syllabus. The sessions are designed to improve communications with students and institute attitude changes for the benefit of driving safety. The four subjects in Session One may be changed to suit the opportunity but will always contain one subject on Driving Safety
- Session Two – In-car driving evaluation by experienced instructors to demonstrate the points that were raised in Session One and assess the student’s attitude and driving style. During this session students under-go vision testing, reaction time testing, and in car assessment. Participants must have driving experience and possess a valid Thai driver license.
This is a public program that is held at class room or meeting room arranged by SDE and students may use either their own vehicle or use one of the SDE vehicles. The program is held twice a month. A certificate of completion with an evaluation record is given to each student. Selling price is Baht 2,500 per student. Customers booking 10 or more students receive a discount of Baht 500 per student. Advanced Driver Safety Education Program (Lecture Series) This is a half day course designed to train a maximum of thirty students how to drive passenger cars or light vehicles safely. It is conducted in one session of four hours, using two instructors (Junior, Instructor) - Session – Multi-media training session with video, animation, and photography focusing on four subjects announced in advance by SDE. They cover specific a level of driving expertise. These lecture/discussion sessions are led by a Junior Driving Instructor and an Instructor using a professional training syllabus. The sessions are designed to improve communications with students and institute attitude changes for the benefit of driving safety. The four subjects in this session may be changed to suit the customer needs but will always contain one subject on Driving Safety.
This program is held at class room or meeting room provided by the customer. The program is offered for a minimum of 30 students. A certificate of completion is given to each student. Selling price is Baht 1,000 per student. (Baht 30,000 per course.) Professional Driver Safety Education Light Vehicle This is a one day course designed to train a twenty students how to drive passenger cars or light vehicles safely. It is conducted in two sessions of four hours each, using four instructors. - Session One – Multi-media training session with video, animation, and photography focusing on four subjects announced in advance by SDE. They cover specific a level of driving expertise. These lecture/discussion sessions are led by a Senior Driving Instructor and a Junior Instructor using a professional training syllabus. The sessions are designed to improve communications with students and institute attitude changes for the benefit of driving safety. This session may be attended by up to 30 students.

Participants must have driving experience and possess a valid Thai driver license.
This program is held at class room or meeting room provided by the customer and using the customer’s own vehicles. The program must be scheduled in advance by the customer. If the customer requires a specialized driving area, it is provided at additional charge. A certificate of completion with an evaluation record is given to each student. Selling price is Baht 2,500 per student who participates in session two. (Baht 50,000 per course per day) Professional Driver Evaluation and certification Professional Driver evaluation and certification is a program of individual assessment for personnel who drive company vehicles or use their own vehicle for company related work. Evaluation – the driver’s vision, reflexes, driving style and attitude are tested using professional test equipment, simulation, and in-car evaluation at your company’s office or at the SDE training center. SDE provides certification of the driver’s competency. This evaluation is available for all levels and takes approximately day. Selling Price: Baht 1,000 per person. (Baht 800 each for groups of 10 or more
Motorcycle Rider Safety Education Program (Lecture Series) This is a half day course designed to train a maximum of thirty Motorcycle riders. It is conducted in one session of four hours, using one Junior instructor. - Session – Multi-media training session with video, animation, and photography focusing on motorcycle driving safety, It covers a specific a level of riding expertise. These lecture/discussion sessions are led by a Junior Driving Instructor and an Instructor using a professional training syllabus. The sessions are designed to improve communications with students and institute attitude changes for the benefit of motorcycle riding safety.
This program is held at class room or meeting room provided by the customer. The program is offered for a minimum of 30 students. A certificate of completion is given to each student. No actual training on-motorcycle is provided – this is a lecture series. Selling price is Baht 500 per student. All programs may include additional charges for training outside of Bangkok.
