Driver License testing Safe Driver Education has everything you need to help you pass your Thai driving test with an exclusive range of training aids including our responsible driving manual, vehicle simulators, and computerized multi-media learning. SDE can give you the best chance of passing the in-car driving test the first time with our practical training aids. Private Novice Driver Safety Education Program This program is a private training program to teach new drivers how to drive safely and assist them in getting their first driver license. The student is assigned a private instructor who conducts 12 hours of practical in-car training including instruction on the mechanical aspects of the car the student will use. The instructor delivers the theoretical and safety lessons using a computerized presentation on laptop. The training is conducted at a location to be agreed with the student and using a car to be agreed upon with the student. The student may take part of the training on simulator and is encouraged to join the SDE Advanced Driver Education class for one day. The student must pass vision tests and reaction time test. The student receives a certificate signed by the instructor. When the instructor believes the student is ready, the instructor will accompany the student to take the driver license exam. The course may be conducted in English or in Thai. This is a “one–on-one” training course. The selling price of the course is Baht 9,000 per student. |

Laboratory Instruction You will spend two hours in our laboratory learning how your car works and how to make simple repairs, such as changing a fuse or changing a tire; what to do when your car overheats. In the lab you will learn about pre-drive check lists to make sure your car is in the best condition for the trip you will make. Get comfortable behind the wheel in our hi-tech Driving Simulator Are you new to driving? SDE’s unique Simulator lets you learn to start, stop, steer and change gears on-screen in a safe environment. Easy ways to boost your confidence before you take to the road and ideal way to get a head start. The simulator allows you to practice safely in different driving scenarios: city, highway, night, high traffic density, and high risk situations. You will spend 2 hours training on the simulator.
