Driving for someone else is a greater responsibility than driving for yourself and for your own pleasure. Obviously, you must insure your own safety and reduce your risks when driving for your self, but when driving for someone else you must also consider their safety and comfort. You must fully understand your passenger’s needs and schedules. You must drive in a manner that the passenger feels is safe and responsible. Other drivers will view your style of driving as representative of the driving style of your passenger.

Master Chauffeur training is a one day course scheduled monthly by Safe Driver Education at its head office.

Student qualification: licensed driver with experience

Course content: driving safety systems, vehicle knowledge and care, courtesy on the road, anticipating accidents and crashes, risk reduction strategies, passenger comfort and reassurance.

Method: lecture, simulator, in-car evaluation

Certification: Student ID card certificate and responsibility agreement

All training is conducted in Thai by experienced driving instructors, using the student’s own  car.
